If you are attracted to the thought of having a more relaxed, tailor made, unique ceremony in a place of your choice (licensed or not) then choosing a celebrant to lead your ceremony is your perfect option. As a celebrant, I am not bound by the constraints of a church ceremony or registrar’s service, which tend to have a specific set of words, a routine set of procedures to follow and are also time-limited. I believe that your ceremony should be tailored to your wishes and should be a hugely enjoyable, wonderful, unforgettable experience. So my role is to get to know you both and to create and deliver a ceremony that encompasses everything you are hoping for, and more.

Your ceremony can be held indoors or outdoors, the venue does not have to be licensed and it can take place at any time of the day or evening. There can be religious or spiritual elements included if you wish and the style and content of the ceremony is entirely up to you. I will obviously guide you all the way and help you make these decisions, help you with choosing readings, writing your own vows, and in every possible way I can before I start to write your ceremony. You can rely on my experience and judgement to make your ceremony beautiful, unique to you and unforgettable. Once I’ve created your ceremony script it’s emailed to you for approval or changes, and then I offer a rehearsal the day before your ceremony to give you and your party the opportunity to see how it will all flow so that you all feel comfortable and confident on the day.

If you are choosing to marry abroad without the majority of your friends and family, you have the option of a later Wedding Blessing Ceremony in this country, with all your friends and family present, and all the usual elements of a wedding ceremony including exchange of vows and rings.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss your plans. I very much look forward to meeting you and helping you to create your perfect ceremony.
